Taming This Tyke's Voice Since 2007

Time seems to move so slow
I often wonder if it flows.
But since yesterdays were through,
Then it does, I brace tomorrow.

Time bestows in me life anew
When I am lost or in sorrow.
It brings me somewhere
To some directions I don’t know.

Time leads me home
To a place that my heart knew.
It brought me here

Where my soul awaits

For you.

  1. jeques, the brevity of this poem is noticeable. yeah, the uncertainties of life is what makes it exciting to discover. i had such similar post in prose, “afraid of the future”.

you had a point, that whenever we feel that is a slow point or the downside in our life, we should take that as a process and an opportunity for us to think anew of strategies. it sometimes, like you said, pays to step back a little and see the forest, maybe we just moving in too fast.

this is poem is worth pondering.
